The New York Energy Solution is a key component of New York’s Green Energy Superhighway. Our electric transmission modernization project is now fully energized and serving homes and businesses in the Capital Region, Hudson Valley and beyond. The project relaced and upgraded aging electric transmission infrastructure along an existing 54-mile transmission corridor and on utility-owned land through 11 towns in Rensselaer, Columbia and Dutchess counties between 2021 and 2023 (See Construction Schedule). Here’s a look at what the NYES is all about and the people who are making it happen.
